Mental Health Caregiver for 15+ Years to...Stone Painter!

I have always been creative and artistic. From finger painting as a toddler and winning a 'bus safety drawing contest' to sketching, sculpting, coloring and painting as a kid. Mom always gave us art projects to do during the long summers in New England so that when we weren't at the beach catching jellyfish or finding seahorses we were creating in our own backyard. She would even make a contest out of it, each of us receiving a prize for our work. Once in college, I still found time to do my art, sketching elaborate collages that I would then color and give away as gifts, and while working in the mental health field as a job coach/job developer for adults with clinical mental illnesses, I created handmade greeting cards for my clients when they were sick or hospitalized. Other artistic accomplishments and endeavors over the past few years have included writing three teen-adventure books and one young adult novel that I sell on Amazon, starting an online landscape and nature photography portfolio, furnishing old furniture found at yard sales for my own home and most recently, starting a Redbubble shop to sell my art on clothing and home decor.
